Genetic Miracle Makes Headlines
On October 23, 2014, a patient gave birth to triplets at Aadil Hospital’s High Risk Gynecology and Obstetrics Center. The patient was referred to Aadil Hospital by a local physician who was expecting a complicated delivery due to multiple births. Initially, the ultrasound report from periphery clinic showed a twin pregnancy; however, on arrival at Aadil Hospital the patient actually gave birth to triplets. This was a surprise to both the mother and the gynecologist. Alhamdulillah the three boys were delivered safely, and after being kept under observation in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, they were sent home shortly after their birth.
In the evening of the same day, another patient also safely delivered twins. The family was delighted to see the healthy twin boys, and the grandfather was especially proud.
During the course of the day, the Pediatrician and the team of post-graduate trainees remained busy with the neonates; however, the triplets and the twin boys all remained stable during their stay at Aadil Hospital. We pray for the health of the babies, and their mothers.
